Dr Alex von Frankenberg

Dr Alex von Frankenberg has been active in the world of venture capital and start-ups since 2000 and became Managing Director of High-Tech Gründerfonds in 2005. Prior to this, he was responsible for spin-offs from Siemens Corporate Technology in his role as Venture Manager at the Siemens Technology Accelerator (STA). In 2001/2002, he was head of sales and marketing at an IT start-up. Before taking on this role, he served as a Project Manager at Siemens Management Consulting, where his responsibilities included the establishment of an internal incubator at the company. He started his career developing complex IT systems with Andersen Consulting.
